Whiskey Sour



  • 60 mL bourbon
  • 30 mL lemon juice freshly squeezed and strained
  • 22 mL simple syrup
  • lemons 1 peel for garnish


  1. Place 6 or 7 square ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Pour in the bourbon, coating the ice. Add in the fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. Shake in a vertical motion for 30 seconds.
  2. Strain slowly into an ice filled rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon peel.
